Today, WordPress 3.0.1 has been releasing 40 minor fixes. If you are using WordPress 2.8 or higher, you will find an upgrade notification on your dashboard. Update automatically from the Dashboard > Updates menu in your site’s admin area.
If you are still using older version than WordPress 2.8, please install WordPress Automatic Upgrade. This will ease your way to WordPress 3.0.1.
In past, it has been found that people didn’t upgrade their blogs on security upgrades and their blog got hacked. They lost their precious blog, content and ultimately revenue. Though it’s not a security upgrade, still you should not neglect any upgrade notification.
