If you love Thesis Theme, you must be happy to know that DIYthemes has released Thesis Theme 1.8 beta 2. It’s now available to download for the developers.
I was reading several blogs to find out the new features in Thesis Theme 1.8 beta 1 & 2. But didn’t find much information about it. So I’m going to make a list of features you can expect in the final release of Thesis theme 1.8.
- Built-in Header and Favicon Uploader option
- Blog publishing tools (Windows Live Writer) support
- Option to choose between WordPress Menu system and Thesis Menu system
- Wide range of font selection; including Google Font Directory support
I’m not sure if use_codepress() error has been fixed in this beta release and there is no code highlight feature in Custom File Editor at the moment. However, I am expecting release of Thesis Theme 2.0 very soon as DIYthemes is extensively advertising it on the net and already announced that price will be $297 for Developers Option. This price will be much higher than current Thesis Theme 1.7 Developers Option which is sold for only $164. No release date yet to confirm.
